Going GFCF can be overwhelming and it helps to talk to people who "get it". Pop in our private Facebook group, to ask questions, share new recipes, or just vent.
When we first went GFCF,
To say I was overwhelmed would have been a severe understatement!
- This is going to be so hard.
- How will we know what he can actually eat?
- Will he even eat these foods?
- It’s going to be so expensive.
- I don’t know how we can afford it.
Starting the gluten-free, dairy-free diet was not easy and it was very-VERY overwhelming for us.
Even though this was 10 years ago, I still remember how it felt. Frankly, it sucked!
My wife and I both cried after grocery shopping that first time.
Because we were so stressed, overwhelmed, and had limited knowledge of GFCF, we made a lot of mistakes.
These mistakes ended up costing us more time and more money.
Don't Waste Time (Like I Did)
It took me years of reading books, scouring the internet, and talking with doctors and parents to finally learn how to do GFCF the right way.
If only there was a place that could have taught me everything I needed to know all at once.
Now There Is!!
The GFCF Family Class
Ready For Progress?
Thousands of parents have been seeing dramatic turnarounds in their kids after giving up gluten, dairy, soy & other potentially inflammatory foods.
Over the years, I’ve heard about some of these fantastic transformations kids have made.
Here’s just a few of the improvements I’ve heard from parents:
- A lifting of the fog (he seems to be more with us now)
- She spoke her first words after just a few days on the diet
- He's better behaved and able to focus in school
- Eczema, once severe, has disappeared
- He slept through the night for the first time
- He’s less anxious and obsessive
- He finally started gaining weight
- Sensory seeking behavior disappeared
- Toe walking, hand flapping is gone
- After 3 days, he said “Mom” for the first time
What About My Son?
Today, my son Ethan, is so much healthier than he used to be.
His sleep improved dramatically, the constant appearance of mystery rashes disappeared, and he no longer gets sick all the time.
AND, he is such a good eater now.
He went from only eating 10 or so foods (no vegetables) to eating almost anything I serve him.
I am still surprised when I give him something new and he does not resist at all.
Hard To Believe
It’s hard to believe that the kid who used to throw peas across the room and meltdown in front of the refrigerator now eats so well.
Recently, I’ve even caught him “stealing” raw kale from the fridge.

GFCF Parent Testimonial:
"At just under 2 years old, he did not point, respond to his name, follow any kind of directions, could not do the simplest task or request in any way food, drink, or anything for that mattered.
In fact, we seriously wondered if he even understood anything we said.
After starting the GFCF diet, it was almost like a light bulb went off in his head and he finally started to understand what we were saying!
In just over 6 months after starting the diet, Logan now has over 100 words, and as you can see he is learning, engaging and interacting so much more.
I can’t tell you the amount of hope we now have for his future! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
Without you to lay everything out for us and give us much needed encouragement, we would have never made it this far!
I can not tell you how much you have changed this little guys life!
We will forever be grateful to you!"
-Kayla & Grammy Jacki, Autism Mom & Grandma
Hi, my name is Dave Borden and “I’m Simply A Dad”. My family started the GFCF Diet for my son’s autism about 10 years ago.
Today, GFCF is really easy. It’s part of our family’s lifestyle and we really don’t give it much thought.
BUT- In the beginning, it was hard- REALLY HARD!
Back then, I felt like everything was a struggle. I was:
Struggling to get my son to try these new foods
Struggling to understand what foods were okay and not
Struggling to understand the diet
Struggling to figure out how to afford the more expensive GFCF
Struggling to prevent or calm repeated meltdowns over food
Struggling to make sure he stayed GFCF at school and therapy
Struggling with my own mental and physical health
But It Was Worth It
I felt so lost in the beginning and at times I wondered why we were even doing this.
But, I am so happy we stayed strong and pushed through.
Over the years, I’ve seen a lot of progress and I’ve seen regression too.
BUT, one thing has become clear, the right foods provide the foundation for progress.
Now It’s Easy Peasy
Once I finally learned how to do GFCF the right way, and I learned strategies that helped my son overcome extreme picky eating, GFCF is really not that hard!
I just didn’t know what I was doing, and there was no one or nothing to help show me the way.
That’s Why I Created This Course!
- I want to prevent you from feeling as completely lost as I did!
- I want to help you avoid those mistakes that I made!
- I want to make this feel doable for your family!
- I want to see you succeed and your child thrive!
My mission with this course is to take away the overwhelm that comes with COMPLETELY changing your family’s eating habits
This class will show you how to do GFCF the right way, and it will teach you everything you need to know in order to be successful with GFCF.
I truly believe The GFCF Family Class can help you achieve the progress you’re wanting to see in your kids.
